  • Testimonials

At WildWash we love love love to hear back from our customers. I thought I’d share a couple of testimonials we received back this week from clients who have just bought our products.

Sian bought our new Whitening Horse Shampoo from our stand at The Horse of The Year show.

“I am sure better lighting would have done these pictures more justice, but these are some before and afters of my coloured mares legs using your WildWash Whitening Shampoo for Horses! It took me half of a mixing bottle for all 4 legs. They are totally spotless. Purchased from your stand at HOYS. And what’s more, it’s left my hand smelling and feeling really nice! So no dounbt her skin will be feeling just the same! X”

We are also very pleased that Amy sent us over these great pics. She used WildWash Detangle on her dogs matted and felted tummy and had fantastic results.

“I bought some of your Wildwash Detangler over the weekend and was asked to share some before-after photos of my Lhasa Apso Cross’s tummy dreadlocks. Attached are a couple of the clearest.

I gave his tangley belly a good soak in it and after some brushing and teasing, I was able to get out most of the knots that hadn’t already turned into felt.”

  • Cat Grooming

The popularity for clients bringing their cats to be groomed has literally quadrupled in the last 2 years. It is not a process to be taken lightly as our lovely feline friends do not enjoy the process very much.

However cats do need some help with grooming, especially long haired cats, to prevent their hair matting. Groomers are very reluctant to clip cats as their skin is paper thin and very easy to cut. We have had remarkable results with our WildWash Detangle for dematting cats. It is very easy to apply and once sprayed on the matt and massaged in, it can been left on for a while to work it’s magic. It is natural and therefore perfect for use on a cat, who may start to lick themselves clean. Once left a gentle comb through should be all that is needed to relieve the knot. Once the cat is thoroughly brushed a wash with our WildWash Sensitive Shampoo is what we would recommend. Again it is completely natural and safe to use on cats. It is sulphate free and so we be very easy and quick to rinse out leaving no residue in the coat. They may not completely like the process but will be very pleased to be tangle and chemical free afterwards. It is a careful and kind process for the animals that we love.

  • Come and See Us!!!

    Horse Of The Year Show

We are busy as usual this month. We have two upcoming events in the UK where we will be showcasing our full range. The first is The Horse of the Year Show at the Birmingham NEC from October 7th to 11th. We will be launching are amazing new range of horse shampoos at this show.

These shampoos showcase the most innovative natural ingredients, which will set new standards for horse care products.

We chose Yarrow, Angelica Leaf, Calendula and Nettle to form the base of our shampoos, as we believe they have qualities that will benefit all horses.

Yarrow is a superior remedy for cuts and wounds. It has an antiseptic action against bacteria for healing. It also cuts through grease and brings out a wonderful shine in the coat.

Calendula also has a long history of use as a wound-healing and skin-soothing botanical. This lovely marigold like flower (although called pot marigold, it is not a true marigold) is considered a vulnerary agent, a substance that promotes healing.

Calendula also has anti-inflammatory and weak antimicrobial activity. It is most often used topically for lacerations, abrasions, and skin infections.

Angelica Root has been used for hair loss treatment for centuries by the Chinese. Enriched with Vitamin E, it helps in stimulating the circulation of oxygen in the body and the scalp. It helps to promote the metabolism and replenishes the nutrient supply in the body, which are essential for the growth of hair. It helps to oxidize blood, which eventually helps in the oxidation of hair cells. It also promotes the regeneration of damaged hair cells.

Nettle leaves have anti-inflammatory properties and historically have been used for treating skin burns and reducing burn scars, as they are very healing. Using Nettle Oil is one of the oldest treatments for combating hair loss effectively.

Other ingredients we use throughout our range are Organic Aloe Vera, Neem, Sea Kelp and Evening Primrose Oil.

Aloe Vera is an extraordinary botanical and trusted ingredient for use on the skin and coat. It is known to hydrate the skin whilst soothing and promoting skin renewal. Aloe Vera also produces at least six natural antiseptics, which are able to kill bacteria and funguses.

Neem Oil is extremely beneficial and has anti bacterial, antiseptic, anti fungal and anti parasitic properties. It is an amazing soother for the skin and it helps to relieve dry and itchy skin, as it is also an effective skin conditioner. It is known for its ability to increase hair growth and repair damaged hair cuticles. It can help with skin infections and works well to deter insects.

Sea Kelp is known as the superfood for skin and hair. It helps to soothe and moisturize and retain moisture in the skin. It can also help to strengthen the hair and give it shine.

Evening Primrose Oil will help boost cell repair in the skin and coat and will keep the skin hydrated. It will nourish and strengthen the hair and add shine.

We have then added extra ingredients to each of our four shampoos specific to their function:

    WildWash Ultra Shine Shampoo

Our Ultra Shine Shampoo for Chestnut, Bay and Black Coats uses the combined natural powers of Star Flower, Myrrh and Rosemary to protect and condition the skin and coat and intensify the natural coat colour, whilst leaving an incredible shine.

    WildWash whitening shampoo

Our Whitening Shampoo for Grey, Palomino and White Coats uses a blue pigment derived from the Chamomile Flower combined with Lavender and Ylang Ylang. This has enabled us to create an incredible natural whitener that will remove even the worst stains from the coat, mane and tail and leave the coat shiny white.

    WildWash Medicated Shampoo

Our Medicated Shampoo for Irritated Skin uses a combination of Juniper, Manuka and Lemongrass to help reduce pain and swelling of bites, heal and protect the skin against infection, relieve muscle pain and maintain the balance of moisture to the skin to help prevent dry patches or flaking.

    WildWash Gentle Shampoo

Our Gentle Shampoo for Sensitive Coats and Foals uses no essential oils and the Aloe Vera, Marshmallow Root and Evening Primrose Oil have been carefully chosen to help reduce inflammation, soothe, relieve, repair and revitalize the skin and coat whilst hydrating and maintaining the balance of moisture.

All our shampoos work with our WildWash Mixing Bottle and dilute 32 to 1, therefore making them very good value for money, as well as being effective and beneficial for horses skin and coat.
